Outdoor Service September 22nd
September 22, a single, outdoor service with picnic food and fun afterwards! Bring your own comfortable lawn chair, if you like; metal folding chairs will be on hand. We anticipate being under a tent and having a special dedication of the beautiful bench in our Memorial Garden. Pre-service singing will be at 9:30am with the worship service starting at 10am. Invite someone to join you for the morning!
Small Groups
Would you like to really grow in your faith? Small group fellowships are a significant factor for many people in personizing and strengthening their faith. One such group will be those gathering to watch The Chosen on Tuesday mornings, starting Sept. 10 at 9:30am in the Living Room. If you are interested in being part of a “home fellowship” type of gathering, sign up in the next couple weeks in the back of church or just outside the Living Room. These groups may meet in various homes or at church, monthly or bi-monthly, for 60-90 minutes on a weekday or weekend – all depending on who wants to participate.
WEEKLY AND DAILY READING OF THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO MARK!
Please make a concerted effort to read Mark 1 each day of this week in preparation for next Sunday. We will be focusing on the content of Mark, chapter by chapter through the rest of the year. You are encouraged to read and reread the chapter during the week as the Sunday message will be from Mark 1 on Sept. 8, from Mark 2 on Sept. 15, Mark 3 on Sept. 22 and so on. Thank you in advance for “letting the Word of God dwell in you richly”! (Col. 3:16)
